What are Orchard Tables?
Orchard Tables are small spiritual gatherings that happen in homes and other cozy spaces.
The gatherings involve some singing, meditation, prayer and teaching (led in part via video), then a delicious brunch and some meaningful conversation. In total they last about 2 hours.
Orchard Tables are safe spaces – fully inclusive and welcome to all walks of life. It’s all pretty low key. No previous spiritual experience necessary (but if you happen to have a little church baggage, welcome to the club. You’re in good company. )
Who is The Orchard Community?
The Orchard is an inclusive, progressive Christian faith community helping people become who they are created to be. We find ourselves rooted in the Christian tradition and expanding our welcome to all ways of experiencing the Divine.
We think doctrine and dogma tend to hold us back, and keep our spirituality from evolving to meet the needs of the world. So instead of rallying around doctrine we rally around our values: Wholeness, Renewal, Goodness & Beauty, Hospitality, Interdependence, Peacemaking, Humility & Curiosity.
If you want to learn more about our values we encourage you to check out these teachings we did on them in the Fall of 2022.
