Baptism is not what saves you, it is simply an outward expression of the inward commitment that has been made to God. It's going public with your faith. Baptism is a symbol, a reminder of this commitment as we journey in our relationship with God. It's a conscious decision that is made by the believer after they have committed their life to Christ. It's not a decision that someone else can make for you, but one that is made as a public confession of faith. We believe in full immersion, water baptism because we see in scripture that is the example that Jesus gave us when he was baptized.

We also do not see any record in the scriptures of babies being baptized, so instead we choose to follow the examples we see in the Bible regarding this and have Parent/Child Dedications throughout the year.
